Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) won 6-4 over Nina Roth (United States) in the Final of the 2017 Curlers Corner Autumn Gold Curling Classic in , Alberta, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Homan won 6-4 over Chelsea Carey (Calgary, AB) in the semifinals and won 9-6 over Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals.
 
Homan finished 5-1 in the 32 team Curlers Corner Autumn Gold Curling Classic qualifying round, held October 6 - 9, 2017 at the Calgary Curling Club in , Canada. In their opening game, Homan defeated Kayla Skrlik (Calgary, AB) 3-2, then won 7-5 against Diane Gushulak (New Westminister, BC). Homan went on to lose 6-3 against Carey. Homan responded with a 9-0 win over Daniela Jentsch (Fuessen, GER). Homan won 6-2 against Cory Christensen (United States), then won 5-3 against Casey Scheidegger (Lethbridge, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Curlers Corner Autumn Gold Curling Classic Championship title, Homan earned 68.615 world rankings points along with the $13,500CDN first prize cheque. For week 9 of the event schedule, Homan did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Homan ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
