DEKALB Superspiel qualifying round, held November 17 - 20, 2017 at the Morris Curling Club in Morris, Canada. In their opening game, Lott defeated Alex Leichter (Boston, MA) 7-5, then went on to lose 5-3 against Dylan Johnston (Northern Ontario). Lott responded with a 8-3 win over Jeff Hartung (Langenburg, SK). Lott went on to lose 7-6 against Dennis Bohn (Winnipeg, MB). Lott responded with a 6-3 win over Jordan Smith (Manitoba). Lott went on to lose 7-2 against Kyle Foster (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Lott earned 1.663 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, dropping 3 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 93rd place overall with 53.382 total points. Lott ranks 48th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 50.715 points earned so far this season.
