To advance to the championship game, Peterman/Gallant won 7-3 over Jennifer Jones/Brent Laing (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2017 Canad Inns Mixed Doubles Championship in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; and won 8-6 over Laura Walker/Geoff Walker (Edmonton, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2017 Canad Inns Mixed Doubles Championship in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada;

Peterman/Gallant finished 4-1 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Peterman/Gallant defeated Stacey Hainstock/Mark Anderson (Brandon, MB) 11-3, then won 8-7 against Jaelyn Cotter/Jim Cotter (Vernon, BC) and 9-1 against Sherry Just/Ryan Deis (Saskatoon, SK). Peterman/Gallant went on to lose 7-5 against Jones/Laing. Peterman/Gallant responded with a 9-8 win over Becca Hamilton/Matt Hamilton (Madson, USA) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Canad Inns Mixed Doubles Championship, Peterman/Gallant take home 0.000 world rankings points along with the $7,500CDN prize. For week 4 of the event schedule, Peterman/Gallant did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
