Peterman/Gallant finished 4-1 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Peterman/Gallant defeated Stacey Hainstock/Mark Anderson (Brandon, MB) 11-3, then won 8-7 against Jaelyn Cotter/Jim Cotter (Vernon, BC) and 9-1 against Sherry Just/Ryan Deis (Saskatoon, SK).
