Virginija Paulauskaite (Vilnius, LTU) finished 5-4 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Paulauskaite lost 6-4 to Ajda Zavrtanik Drglin (Jesenice, SLO), then responded with a 7-6 win over Silvia Sykorova (Bratislava, SVK). Paulauskaite won 9-7 against Dorottya Palancsa (Budapest, HUN). Paulauskaite went on to lose 10-2 against Kristin Moen Skaslien (Oslo, NOR). Paulauskaite responded with a 5-4 win over Oihane Otaegi (San Sebastian, ESP). Paulauskaite went on to lose 5-4 against Marie Turmann (Tallinn, EST). Paulauskaite lost 11-3 to Dilsat Yildiz (Erzurum, TUR) where Paulauskaite responded with a 8-7 win over Marta Szeliga-Frynia (Lodz, POL). Paulauskaite won 5-4 against Lisa Farnell (Kent, ENG) in their final qualifying round match.

Paulauskaite earned 8.336 world rankings points for their Top 4 finish in the Le Gruyere AOP European B Curling Championships, moving up 33 spots the World Ranking Standings into 151st place overall with 15.228 total points. Paulauskaite ranks 128th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 13.711 points earned so far this season.
