Fujisawa lost 9-4 to Kim where Fujisawa responded with a 15-1 win over Hong Kong's Ling-Yue Hung. Fujisawa won 10-4 against Becker, then won 8-2 against Williams in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Pacific-Asia Curling Championship, Fujisawa take home 12.540 world rankings points. Fujisawa move up 2 spots after posting a net gain of 11.512 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 26th overall with 219.408 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
