Kesa Van Osch (Nanaimo, BC) won 11-4 over Karla Thompson (Kamloops, BC) in the Final of the BC Scotties, held January 2 - 7, 2018 at the Victoria Curling Club in Victoria, Canada.
 
Van Osch finished 5-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Van Osch lost 8-5 to Thompson, then responded with a 7-6 win over Diane Gushulak (New Westminster, BC). Van Osch won 5-4 against Holly Donaldson (Victoria, BC). Van Osch went on to lose 8-1 against Corryn Brown (Kamloops, BC). Van Osch responded with a 6-4 win over Kim Slattery (Vernon, BC). Van Osch won 8-3 against Kayte Gyles (Surrey, BC), then won 9-4 against Randi Ludwar (Kelowna, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the BC Scotties Championship title, Van Osch earned 11.550 world rankings points, moving up 3 spots the World Ranking Standings into 64th place overall with 92.663 total points. Van Osch ranks 50th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 60.070 points earned so far this season.
