Jones won 9-5 against Yilun Jiang (Harbin, CHN), then won 10-5 against Angelina Jensen (Hvidovre, DEN) and 8-6 against Hannah Fleming (Lockerbie, SCO). Jones won 8-4 against EunJung Kim (Uiseong, KOR), then won 8-4 against Hasselborg and 8-7 against Victoria Moiseeva (St. Petersburg, RUS). Jones won 14-6 against Diana Gaspari (Cortina d'Ampezzo, ITA), then won 8-5 against Tori Koana (Yamanashi, JPN) and 8-5 against Sinclair in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the FORD World Womens Curling Championship Championship title, Jones earned 70.761 world rankings points.
