Sturmay went on to lose 10-7 against Bottcher. Sturmay responded with a 9-2 win over Jeremy Harty (Calgary, AB). Sturmay won 8-7 against Ted Appelman (Spruce Grove, AB), then won 7-3 against Charley Thomas (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Alberta Boston Pizza Cup, Sturmay take home 16.555 world rankings points. For week 26 of the event schedule, Sturmay did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 508th to 520th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 0.763 total points.
