Tom Brewster (Aberdeen, SCO) finished 5-4 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brewster defeated Stuart Taylor (Glawgow, SCO) 8-7, then went on to lose 5-1 against Greg Drummond (Stirling, SCO). Brewster responded with a 8-7 win over Cameron Bryce (Borders, SCO). Brewster went on to lose 10-2 against Bruce Mouat (Edinburgh, SCO). Brewster lost 6-4 to Callum Kinnear (Perth, SCO) where Brewster responded with a 8-2 win over Murray Young (Forfar, SCO). Brewster won 10-4 against Graham Shaw (Perth, SCO). Brewster went on to lose 8-3 against Cameron McNay (Edinburgh, SCO). Brewster responded with a 7-2 win over Fraser Hare (Stranraer, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

Brewster earned 5.743 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 28 of the event schedule, Brewster did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Brewster ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
