Corryn Brown (Kamloops, BC) finished 5-2 in the 8 team USports Women's Curling Championship qualifying round, held March 24 - 28, 2018 in , . In their opening game, Brown lost 10-5 to Kristen Streifel (Edmonton, AB), then responded with a 10-7 win over Mary Fay (Kingston, ON). Brown won 8-2 against Terri Weeks (St. Catharines, ON), then won 11-6 against Rebecca Roberts (St. John's, NL) and 8-5 against Kaitlin Jewer (Waterloo, ON). Brown went on to lose 9-4 against Haylee Jameson (Regina, SK). Brown responded with a 5-4 win over Krista Nix (Sackville, NB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the USports Women's Curling Championship, Brown take home 4.538 world rankings points along with the $7CDN prize. For week 34 of the event schedule, Brown did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Brown ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
