Bob Leclair () finished 2-2 in the 20 team Ed Werenich Golden Wrench Classic presented by The Lodge Sasquatch Kitchen qualifying round, held January 24 - 27, 2019 at the Coyotes Curling Club in Scottsdale, United States. In their opening game, Leclair defeated Edward Scimia (Bridgeport, CT) 9-2, then went on to lose 9-1 against Reid Carruthers (Winnipeg, MB). Leclair lost 8-1 to Jim Cotter (Vernon, BC) where Leclair responded with a 6-0 win over Chris Bond (Seattle, WA) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Leclair earned 3.198 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins.
