Peterman/Gallant finished 4-1 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Peterman/Gallant lost 8-7 to Marlene Albrecht/Matt Wozniak (Zurich, SUI), then responded with a 10-0 win over Becky Moncur/Scott Moncur (Canmore, AB).
