Kaitlyn Jones (Halifax, NS) qualified for the 2018 Canadian Beef Masters of Curling playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-3 against Chelsea Carey (Edmonton, AB). of the 2018 Canadian Beef Masters of Curling in Truro, Nova Scotia;

Jones finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jones defeated Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI) 7-4, then won 6-5 against Kerri Einarson (Winnipeg, MB). Jones went on to lose 7-2 against Tracy Fleury (Winnipeg, MB). Jones responded with a 6-5 win over Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Jones earned 35.421 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Canadian Beef Masters of Curling, moving up 33 spots the World Ranking Standings into 50th place overall with 80.077 total points. Jones ranks 58th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 35.421 points earned so far this season.
