Walker responded with a 9-8 win over Chelsea Carey (Edmonton, AB). Walker won 7-5 against Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

Walker earned 13.071 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 9th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 9.066 after improving upon their best so far this season. Walker ranks 16th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 132.835 points earned so far this season.
