Crawford finished 2-2 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Crawford defeated Marin McLeod (Saint John, NB) 9-3, then won 6-1 against Shelly Graham (Fredericton, NB). Crawford went on to lose 6-5 against Sylvie Robichaud (Moncton , NB). Crawford lost 10-6 to Melissa Morrow (Charlottetown, PEI) in their final qualifying round match.
