Hailey Armstrong (Ottawa, ON) qualified for the 2018 Curl Mesabi Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-1 against Laurie St-Georges (Laval, QC).

Armstrong finished 2-2 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Armstrong defeated Melissa Runing (Mankato, MN) 10-2, then won 8-2 against Courtney George (St. Paul , MN). Armstrong went on to lose 4-3 against St-Georges. Armstrong lost 10-0 to Nina Roth (Chaska, USA) in their final qualifying round match.
