Min Ji Kim (Chuncheon City, KOR) run at the LGT World Women's Curling Championship came to an end in the semifinals with a 5-3 loss to Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI). of the LGT World Women's Curling Championship in Silkeborg, Denmark;

Kim finished 9-3 in the 13-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kim defeated Chelsea Carey (Edmonton, CAN) 7-6, then won 7-6 against Alina Kovaleva (Saint-Petersburg, RUS) and 9-5 against Jamie Sinclair (Chaska, USA). Kim went on to lose 8-4 against Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE). Kim responded with a 6-5 win over Tirinzoni. Kim won 11-4 against Seina Nakajima (Nagano, JPN), then won 9-5 against Daniela Jentsch (Fuessen, GER). Kim went on to lose 8-3 against Oona Kauste (Aland, FIN). Kim responded with a 9-5 win over Madeleine Dupont (Hvidovre, DEN). Kim went on to lose 11-9 against Jie Mei (Harbin, CHN). Kim responded with a 8-7 win over Iveta Stasa-Sarsune (Riga, LAT). Kim won 7-4 against Sophie Jackson (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

Kim earned 50.142 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the LGT World Women's Curling Championship. Kim move up 7 spots after posting a net gain of 37.18 points improving upon their best 8 results so far this season, ranking 8th overall with 237.966 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
