Steve Allen (Ottawa, ON) won 8-1 over John Willsey (Waterloo, ON) in the Final of the 2018 COMCO Cash Spiel in Innisfil, Ontario, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Allen won 7-2 over Colin Dow (Ottawa, ON) in the semifinals and won 10-2 over Ian Dickie (Newmarket, ON) in the quarterfinals.
 
Allen finished 3-0 in the 20 team COMCO Cash Spiel qualifying round, held November 9 - 11, 2018 at the Stroud Curling Club in Innisfil, Canada. In their opening game, Allen defeated Terry Corbin (Brantford, ON) 5-3, then won 7-5 against Dickie and 8-6 against Michael Shepherd (Richmond Hill, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the COMCO Cash Spiel Championship title, Allen earned 21.109 world rankings points along with the $3,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 18 spots the World Ranking Standings into 46th place overall with 88.661 total points. Allen ranks 40th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 55.824 points earned so far this season.
