Chambers finished 3-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Chambers lost 7-6 to Daniel Birchard (Winnipeg, MB), then responded with a 5-4 win over Curtis McCannell (Pilot Mound, MB). Chambers won 1-0 against Jeff Stewart (Carberry, MB). Chambers went on to lose 8-3 against Freeman. Chambers responded with a 7-1 win over McCannell in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the King Spud Classic Berth Spiel Championship title, Chambers earned 15.862 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN first prize cheque. Chambers move up 15 spots after posting a net gain of 13.758 points improving upon their best 6 results so far this season, ranking 70th overall with 62.727 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Chambers ranks 47th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 50.107 points earned so far this season.
