Brett Barber (Biggar, SK) run at the 2018 Highland SWCT Event came to an end in the semifinals with a 6-2 loss to Candace Chisholm (Carlyle, SK). of the 2018 Highland SWCT Event in Regina, Saskatchewan; of the 2018 Highland SWCT Event in Regina, Saskatchewan;

Barber finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Barber defeated Kaitlyn Bowman (Weyburn, SK) 8-6, then won 8-6 against Krystal Englot (Regina, SK) and 8-6 against Michelle Englot (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Barber earned 12.220 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Highland SWCT Event, moving up 20 spots the World Ranking Standings into 94th place overall with 32.745 total points. Barber ranks 54th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 16.521 points earned so far this season.
