Bruce Mouat (Stirling, SCO) finished 3-3 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mouat defeated Jason Gunnlaugson (Winnipeg, CAN) 8-6, then went on to lose 8-3 against John Shuster (Duluth, USA). Mouat lost 5-3 to Qiang Zou (Beijing, CHN) where Mouat responded with a 7-5 win over Gunnlaugson. Mouat went on to lose 7-4 against Shuster. Mouat responded with a 9-1 win over Zou in their final qualifying round match.

Mouat earned 19.020 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Curling World Cup Omaha. Mouat gained 15.409 points improving upon their best 7 events, though dropped 1 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 5thplace overall with 400.609 total points. Mouat ranks 7th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 227.085 points earned so far this season.
