In their opening game, Wright defeated Brynne Masson (Calgary, AB) 12-5, then won 10-2 against Hannah Northwood (Airdrie, AB) and 14-6 against Taylor Smith (Airdrie, AB). Wright won 9-3 against Rhett Whittmire (Lethbrdge, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
