In their opening game, Daniels lost 7-6 to Brette Richards (Kelowna, BC), then responded with a 8-5 win over Nicole Backe (Victoria, BC). Daniels went on to lose 7-6 against Karla Thompson (Kamloops, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
