Reed won 9-2 against Ulrik Damm (Hvidovre, DEN), then won 12-2 against Marcelo Mello (Sao Paolo, BRZ). Reed went on to lose 7-5 against Scott Becker (Naseby, NZL). Reed lost 8-6 to SooHyuk Kim (Seoul, KOR) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Reed earned 7.650 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Men's World Qualification Event. For week 24 of the event schedule, Reed did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Reed ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
