Glen Muirhead (Perth, SCO) qualified for the 2019 Aberdeen International Curling Championship playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 4-3 against Peter De Cruz (Geneve, SUI). of the 2019 Aberdeen International Curling Championship in Aberdeen, Scotland;

Muirhead finished 3-2 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Muirhead defeated Hamish Gallacher (Dumfries, SCO) 6-2, then won 8-4 against Marc Muskatewitz (Baden Baden, GER). Muirhead went on to lose 5-4 against Steffen Walstad (Oppdal, NOR). Muirhead responded with a 7-4 win over Magnus Ramsfjell (Oslo, NOR). Muirhead went on to lose 8-4 against De Cruz in their final qualifying round match.

Muirhead earned 17.574 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Aberdeen International Curling Championship, remaining in 16th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 12.191 after improving upon their best so far this season. Muirhead ranks 16th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 225.279 points earned so far this season.
