Ariel Traxler (Fairbanks, AK) finished 2-5 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Traxler lost 8-2 to Jamie Sinclair (Chaska, USA), droppimg another game, 7-6 to Stephanie Senneker (Port Huron, MI). Traxler lost 9-3 to Annmarie Dubberstein (Portage, WI) where Traxler responded with a 13-5 win over Ann Podoll (Fargo, ND). Traxler won 8-6 against Kim Rhyme (Minneapolis, MN). Traxler went on to lose 11-5 against Nina Roth (Madison, USA). Traxler lost 8-7 to Cory Christensen (Duluth, USA) in their final qualifying round match.

Traxler earned 3.848 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 27 of the event schedule, Traxler did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Traxler ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
