Berggren lost 11-6 to Marco Hoesli (Glarus, SUI) where Berggren responded with a 9-7 win over Klaudius Harsch (Fuessen, GER). Berggren went on to lose 7-5 against Andrew Stopera (Chaska, USA). Berggren responded with a 8-3 win over Weihaoping Wang (Beijing, CHN). Berggren went on to lose 9-5 against Tyler Tardi (Langley, CAN). Berggren lost 10-7 to Magnus Ramsfjell (Oslo, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Berggren earned 2.640 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 28 of the event schedule, Berggren did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Berggren ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
