Luca Rizzolli (Cembra, ITA) finished 1-8 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Rizzolli lost 5-4 to Matthew Neilson (Naseby, NZL), droppimg another game, 7-6 to Marco Hoesli (Glarus, SUI) where Rizzolli responded with a 10-9 win over Daniel Berggren (Sveg, SWE). Rizzolli went on to lose 7-3 against Andrew Stopera (Chaska, USA). Rizzolli lost 10-3 to Tyler Tardi (Langley, CAN). Rizzolli lost 12-1 to Ross Whyte (Dumfries, SCO). Rizzolli lost 10-6 to Magnus Ramsfjell (Oslo, NOR). Rizzolli lost 10-5 to Klaudius Harsch (Fuessen, GER). Rizzolli lost 8-6 to Weihaoping Wang (Beijing, CHN) in their final qualifying round match.

Rizzolli earned 1.320 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 28 of the event schedule, Rizzolli did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Rizzolli ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
