In their opening game, Dickison defeated Dan Philip (Rexton, NB) 8-1, then went on to lose 5-2 against Jim Sullivan (Moncton, NB). Dickison responded with a 8-2 win over Gary Sullivan (Saint John, NB). Dickison won 7-5 against Glenn Daigle (Rexton, NB) in their final qualifying round match.
