John Epping (Toronto, ON) won 5-3 over Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, NONT) in the Final of the AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic, held September 10 - 15, 2019 at the Cornwall Curling Club in Cornwall, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Epping won 7-2 over Peter De Cruz (Geneva, SUI) in the semifinals of the 2019 AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada; and won 7-4 over Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL) in the quarterfinals. of the 2019 AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada;
 
Epping finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Epping defeated Yannick Schwaller (Bern, SUI) 5-4, then won 7-2 against Michael Fournier (Montreal, QC). Epping went on to lose 6-3 against Jacobs. Epping responded with a 4-2 win over Scott McDonald (Kingston, ON). Epping won 6-4 against Jean-Sebastien Roy (Saguenay, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic Championship title, Epping earned 86.719 world rankings points along with the $15,400CDN first prize cheque, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 2nd place overall with 529.823 total points. Epping ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 157.841 points earned so far this season.
