In their opening game, Jacobs defeated Karsten Sturmay (Edmonton, AB) 5-4, then won 7-1 against Brad Wood (Penticton, BC) and 6-3 against John Shuster (Duluth, USA). Jacobs won 8-5 against Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL), then won 8-2 against Neil Dangerfield ( Victoria, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
Jacobs earned 28.500 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Ashley HomeStore Curling Classic, remaining in 2nd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 487.783 total points. Jacobs ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 268.112 points earned so far this season.
