Dace Regza/Ansis Regza (Riga, LAT) finished 1-4 in the 18-team qualifying round. . Regza/Regza lost 10-5 to Angela Romei/Joel Retornaz (Pinerolo, ITA) where Regza/Regza responded with a 6-4 win over Manon Humbert/David Baumgartner (Megeve, FRA). Regza/Regza went on to lose 8-2 against Switzerland's Daniela Rupp/Kevin Wunderlin in their final qualifying round match.
