Ryan finished 3-1 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ryan defeated Kyle Foster (Arborg, MB) 8-2, then won 9-3 against Mike Farbelow (St. Paul, MN) and 6-1 against Minnesota's Jed Brundidge.
