To advance to the championship game, Kelly won 8-5 over Brandon Corbett (Dundas, ON) in the semifinals of the 2019 Kalamazoo Men's Classic in Kalamazoo, Michigan, United States; and won 1-0 over Dominik Maerki (Chaska, MN) in the quarterfinals. of the 2019 Kalamazoo Men's Classic in Kalamazoo, Michigan, United States;
 
Kelly finished 2-1 in the 13-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kelly defeated Jeremy Hozjan (Charlotte, NC) 7-3, then won 7-5 against Scott Strouse (Midland, MI). Kelly went on to lose 6-4 against Law in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Kalamazoo Men's Classic Championship title, Kelly earned 9.959 world rankings points along with the $1,965CDN first prize cheque, moving up 80 spots the World Ranking Standings into 175th place overall with 17.217 total points. Kelly ranks 118th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 9.959 points earned so far this season.
