Cotter won 6-5 against Saskatchewan's Jason Jacobson. Cotter went on to lose 6-4 against Shaun Meachem (Saskatoon, SK). Cotter responded with a 5-2 win over Brent Gedak (Estevan, SK). Cotter won 7-2 against William Lyburn (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Cotter earned 15.632 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the College Clean Restoration Curling Classic.
