Un-Chi Gim (Gyeonggi-do, KOR) lost 4-3 to Min Ji Kim (Chuncheon, KOR) in the Final of the Boundary Ford Curling Classic, held November 22 - 25, 2019 at the Lloydminster Curling Club in Lloydminster, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Gim won 5-4 over Yu Han (Beijing, CHN) in the semifinals of the 2019 Boundary Ford Curling Classic in Lloydminster, Alberta, Canada; and won 7-6 over Jennifer Clark-Rouire (Miami, MB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2019 Boundary Ford Curling Classic in Lloydminster, Alberta, Canada;

Gim finished 4-2 in the 30-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gim lost 11-5 to Marla Sherrer (Lacombe, AB), then responded with a 7-4 win over Ashley Howard (Saskatoon, SK). Gim won 8-7 against Kayla Skrlik (Calgary, AB). Gim went on to lose 6-5 against Irene Schori (ZÃ¼rich, SUI). Gim responded with a 7-5 win over Kerry Galusha (Yellowknife, NT) to advance to the C-Qualifier where they 6-3 against Amber Holland (Regina, SK) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Boundary Ford Curling Classic, Gim take home 28.912 world rankings points along with the $6,000CDN prize. For week 18 of the event schedule, Gim did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 203rd to 210th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 3.992 total points. Gim ranks 175th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 3.992 points earned so far this season.
