Maerki lost 10-6 to Kyle Kakela (Rolla, ND) where Maerki responded with a 5-4 win over Korey Dropkin (Chaska, USA). Maerki won 9-8 against Chase Sinnett (Medfield, MA) in their final qualifying round match.

Maerki earned 18.673 world rankings points for their Top 4 finish in the USA Curling National Championship, moving up 17 spots the World Ranking Standings into 51st place overall with 84.521 total points. Maerki ranks 51st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 84.521 points earned so far this season.
