Emt went on to lose 9-2 against Scotland's Hugh Nibloe. Emt lost 9-5 to Sweden's Viljo Petersson-Dahl where Emt responded with a 6-3 win over Norway's Jostein Stordahl. Emt won 10-2 against England's Rosemary Lenton in their final qualifying round match.
