Jacob Libbus (Turner Valley, AB) won 9-2 over Ryan Jacques (Edmonton, AB) in the Final of the Red Deer Elks Junior Mens Spiel, held October 18 - 20, 2019 at the Red Deer Curling Club in Red Deer, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Libbus won 7-3 over Korea's Sangwoo Park in the semifinals of the 2019 Red Deer Elks Junior Mens Spiel in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada; and won 10-4 over Cole Ector (Edmont, AB) in the quarterfinals.
 
Libbus finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Libbus defeated Alberta's Kaleb Rauhala 9-4, then won 8-3 against Andrew Manson (Airdrie, AB) and 8-1 against Ector in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week 13 of the event schedule, Libbus did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Libbus ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
