Jacob Horgan (Sudbury, NONT) finished 3-3 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Horgan defeated Nicholas Rowe (Ottawa, ON) 6-3, then won 6-4 against Daniel Bruce (St. John's, NL). Horgan went on to lose 5-4 against Yves Wagenseil (Bern, SUI). Horgan lost 7-2 to Jayden King (Kingston, ON) where Horgan responded with a 6-4 win over Jacques Gauthier (Winnipeg, MB). Horgan went on to lose 9-4 against Ontario's Owen Purdy in their final qualifying round match.
