Thomas finished 2-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Thomas defeated Alberta's Claire Comeillie 8-3, then went on to lose 6-5 against Jackson. Thomas responded with a 7-2 win over Tyson Ballance (Okotokes, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
