Wilson/Cowan finished 6-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wilson/Cowan defeated Shawna Jensen/Connor Deane (Delta, BC) 9-6, then went on to lose 10-3 against Sandwith/de Jong. Wilson/Cowan responded with a 12-6 win over Shannon Ward/Robbie Gallaugher (New Westminster, BC). Wilson/Cowan won 10-7 against Debbie McKinnery/Terry Foord (Hope, BC), then won 9-7 against Stephanie Prinse/Rhys Gamache (Chilliwack, BC) and 7-0 against Allison DenToom/Dave Marchant (Vancouver, BC). Wilson/Cowan won 7-1 against Debbie Geiger/Dean Geiger (Abbotsford, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Wilson/Cowan earned 5.100 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the BC Mixed Doubles Championship. For week 32 of the event schedule, Wilson/Cowan did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Wilson/Cowan ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
