In their opening game, Strouse lost 10-4 to Cassie Potter (St. Paul, MN), droppimg another game, 10-6 to Tabitha Peterson (St. Paul, MN) where Strouse responded with a 7-6 win over Kim Rhyme (Minneapolis, MN). Strouse went on to lose 12-6 against Jamie Sinclair (Charlotte, NC). Strouse responded with a 7-4 win over Patti Lank (St. Paul, MN). Strouse went on to lose 11-2 against Ariel Traxler (Fairbanks, AK). Strouse lost 10-4 to Rachel Workin (Fargo, ND) in their final qualifying round match.

Strouse earned 3.751 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 12 spots the World Ranking Standings into 98th place overall with 29.208 total points. Strouse ranks 98th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 29.208 points earned so far this season.
