To advance to the championship game, Mitchell won 8-2 over Taylour Stevens (Halifax, NS) in the semifinals of the 2019 Oak Island Junior Womens Cashspiel in Chester, Nova Scotia;
 
Mitchell finished 3-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mitchell defeated Allyson MacNutt (Truro, NS) 1-0, then won 7-1 against Kaylee Nodding (Bridgewater, NS) and 8-2 against Katie Shaw (Cornwall, PEI). Mitchell went on to lose 8-5 against Cally Moore (Lower Sackville, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
