Mathilde Halse (Hvidovre, DEN) finished 2-7 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Halse lost 6-3 to Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE), droppimg another game, 7-6 to Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO) where Halse responded with a 7-3 win over Marianne Rorvik (Oslo, NOR). Halse went on to lose 9-3 against Alina Kovaleva (Saint-Petersburg , RUS). Halse responded with a 8-4 win over Iveta Stasa-Sarsune (Riga, LAT). Halse went on to lose 6-4 against Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI). Halse lost 9-3 to Daniela Jentsch (Fuessen, GER). Halse lost 9-4 to Marie Turmann (Tallinn, EST). Halse lost 7-5 to Anna Kubeskova (Prague, CZE) in their final qualifying round match.

Halse earned 6.169 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 18 of the event schedule, Halse did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Halse ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
