Zappone finished 7-2 in the 10 team Le Gruyere AOP European B Curling Championships qualifying round, held November 16 - 23, 2019 in , . In their opening game, Zappone defeated Oihane Otaegi (San Sebastien, ESP) 11-4, then won 6-4 against Marharyta Dziashuk (Minsk, BLR) and 8-5 against Marta Pluta (Gliwice, POL). Zappone won 8-7 against Elina Virtaala (Hyvinkaa, FIN), then won 9-3 against Asta Vaicekonyte (Lithuania) and 9-1 against Gabriela Kajanova (Bratislava, SVK). Zappone went on to lose 6-5 against Palancsa. Zappone lost 8-7 to Yildiz where Zappone responded with a 9-1 win over Lisa Farnell (Kent, ENG) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Le Gruyere AOP European B Curling Championships Championship title, Zappone earned 20.841 world rankings points, moving up 53 spots the World Ranking Standings into 94th place overall with 35.752 total points. Zappone ranks 73rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 29.410 points earned so far this season.
