Dailene Pewarchuk (Victoria, BC) finished 3-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Pewarchuk defeated Morgayne Eby (Vernon, BC) 12-4, then won 7-5 against Lindsay Hudyma (Vancouver, BC) and 9-6 against Sarah Daniels (Delta, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the BC Women's Open Event #1 Championship title, Pewarchuk earned 9.563 world rankings points. For week 21 of the event schedule, Pewarchuk did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Pewarchuk ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
