Tarsunova5-1 at 2019 World Mixed Doubles Qualification Event

Tatsiana Tarsunova (Minsk, BLR) finished 5-1 in the 28-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tarsunova defeated Slovakia's Daniela Matulova 6-5, then won 9-2 against Hannah Augustin (Kitzbuehel, AUT). Tarsunova went on to lose 7-3 against Hye-Ji Jang (Uiseong, KOR). Tarsunova responded with a 9-2 win over Netherlands's Lisenka Bomas. Tarsunova won 8-4 against Akvile Rykove (Vilnius, LTU), then won 13-1 against Nigeria's Susana Cole in their final qualifying round match.

Tarsunova earned 5.525 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 668th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 5.524 after improving upon their best so far this season. Tarsunova ranks 149th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 5.524 points earned so far this season.
