Kaitlynn Sharpe/Jeff Stewart (New Brunswick) finished 4-3 in the 21 team
New Brunswick Mixed Doubles Curling Championship qualifying round, held December 13 - 15, 2019 at the Thistle St. Andrews Curling Club in Saint John, Canada. In their opening game, Sharpe/Stewart defeated Rebecca Watson/Wil Robertson (New Brunswick) 9-7, then went on to lose 12-3 against J Tingley/Chris Jeffrey (Saint John, NB). Sharpe/Stewart lost 7-2 to Lynn LeBlanc/Charles Savoie (New Brunswick) where Sharpe/Stewart responded with a 7-4 win over Abby Burgess/Dean Grattan (Oromocto, NB). Sharpe/Stewart won 7-4 against Aiden Ingersoll/Shawn Ingersoll (New Brunswick), then won 7-6 against LeBlanc/Savoie. Sharpe/Stewart went on to lose 7-5 against Kendra Lister/Daniel Lister (St. Andrews, NB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Sharpe/Stewart earned 2.279 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 668th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 2.28 after improving upon their best so far this season. Sharpe/Stewart ranks 214th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.280 points earned so far this season.
