New Brunswick Mixed Doubles Curling Championship qualifying round, held December 13 - 15, 2019 at the Thistle St. Andrews Curling Club in Saint John, Canada. In their opening game, Paterson/Porter defeated Maura Boyle/Sean Boyle (Saint John, NB) 9-4, then went on to lose 7-3 against Melissa Adams/Alex Robichaud (Fredericton, NB). Paterson/Porter responded with a 10-5 win over Abigail Holmes/Jacob Elsinga (New Brunswick). Paterson/Porter won 10-1 against Kayla Russell/Jordan Craft (Fredericton, NB), then won 10-5 against Lynn LeBlanc/Charles Savoie (New Brunswick) and 7-2 against J Tingley/Chris Jeffrey (Saint John, NB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Paterson/Porter earned 4.559 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the New Brunswick Mixed Doubles Curling Championship, remaining in 668th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 4.558 after improving upon their best so far this season.
